1) Awesome caveman beard. 2) Especially enjoyed the essay on meditation - while I've never been so deep into to as to do it for hours a day it sounds like a much-needed perspective on it that you shared

Ben! Great to hear from you man :)

1- thank you

2- appreciate the kind words. meditation is often seen as an unequivocal good thing (especially by me), so it was fun to explore some of the not-so-talked-about perverse effects

The way you ponder about spirituality and how it will affect your connection with the world is something I admire deeply. Love reading your ponderings, I hope you continue to share your thoughts.

Another great issue, Tommy. That mail to self by SJ is pure gold. I'd read it a while ago but you reminded me of it and now I'll be pondering over it for a while. I also loved the Rilke's. Thank you!

Thank you Silvio :) really glad you enjoyed it.

It's so interesting he emailed it to himself. Almost like a digital post-it note. Something to see every day and not forget.

Reading Rilke deeper, I learned he was the most dire recipient of his own advice. As he was writing letters on how to live to the young poet, he was turning to another writer asking for similar guidance. Often, when I catch the advice I offer (although I'm trying to offer advice far less) it's the exact thing that I need to do.
