Well written, practical, and enjoyable essay on "playing your cards." Everyone has their own process. Some can complain and move on. But for others, to start complaining is to never get over the bad hand they were dealt.

It's important to know your own process. At the end of the day, action eat intention for breakfast.

Thank you for leaving such a thoughtful note, Jack. I appreciate you.

The meta idea I was trying to get at is to feel your feelings. We process emotion through expression not suppression.

Yet, if you stretch "complaining" to becoming bitter and miserable and wallowing in despair, it passes from processing your emotions to feeling like a victim, which is almost always not productive.

Damn, that quote about the ‘weight of unlived lives’ hit hard. Definitely have been feeling that a lot lately. I think it has to do with the way I compare myself to hyper-successful people on social media

Hey Sam. Thank you for leaving a note and sharing your thoughts. I appreciate you.

I'm glad the quote resonated. It hit hard for me too. With social media we're presented with a near infinite list of things we "could" be doing, it's hard to feel like we're doing the right things.

You're not alone in that feeling.

I've found, once I accept the inevitability of it, accepting my limitations, I can begin to move past and do the few things that I really want to do.

Thanks again. Have a lovely weekend.

Great issue!

"Complain about your cards." I hear you! Complain, then learn from it.

Thanks Steph! I appreciate your kind words.

That's exactly the idea I wanted to get across. Process your emotions, feel your feelings, then find the lesson in it and keep marching forward. All we can do.

Have a lovely rest of your weekend :)
