I know we've never met before, but I just wanted to say that your idea for this week on "rest like a roman" truly resonated with me! So important to take some days slow, and carve out the time to properly rest and recover! 🙌🏻 Also went hiking recently last month and am feeling much more recharged, rejuvenated and relaxed! 😊 (not to mention more energized at work lately too!)

Hey Ronald! Thank you for the kind words on my writing. Means a lot :)

I've really been trying to incorporate more "slowness" into my day. More and more I think real luxury lies in not being rushed.

Glad to hear you made time to go hiking and are reaping the rewards. It's a hobby of mine as well, so I may have to get some trail recommendations off you sometime!

Thanks again for connecting and I hope you have a lovely start to your week.

This idea resonates, big time. I've also been pondering what my ideal day looks -- where nature, screens, work, and rest can harmonize. Thank you for the inspiration (and concrete ways) to nourish myself with rest!

Hey Saalik, thanks so much for the kind note. Made my day :)

It's a really interesting thought exercise to design an "ideal day". I've realized mine hovers somewhere around being a writer / solopreneur (freedom and autonomy but not a ton of people to manage) -- which I never realized until I went through the exercise.

Thanks again and hope we can keep in touch post WoP!

I've found myself wanting to be in a similar place... it'll be interesting to see how things evolve. Let's definitely keep in touch, I think I'll be back for another cohort!

Also wanted to let you know that this piece got me to put my phone away yesterday, and it was WONDERFUL. Thank you.
